Tecore Wireless Systems, which has developed technology to provide voice, data and multimedia services from a common platform, introduced a service for mobile virtual network operators.
The T-MVNO product provides mobile subscriber management and application services, uses an IP backbone and, according to Tecore, all components can be migrated to IMS-based architectures. T-MVNO can support subscriber bases between a few thousand to over a million subscribers.
“Tecore’s solution addresses three of the key challenges that MVNOs face as they define their core network architecture: the flexibility to support a variety of operational models; how to handle multiple wireless technologies; and the need to cost-effectively scale as the business develops and matures,” the company said.
Tecore plans to showcase its MVNO service at the CTIA Wireless convention next week in Las Vegas.
