KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.-InterDigital Corp. reported a net income of $3.4 million, or 6 cents per share, for the third quarter of this year. This compares with a net loss of $5.8 million, or 11 cents per share in the same period last year.
Revenues for the quarter increased to $26.8 million, an 82 percent jump from the same period last year of $14.7 million.
“We are benefiting from increased replacement demand for mobile phones, driven by innovative new products such as camera phones, and by the very early stages of growth in wideband CDMA infrastructure and handset sales,” said Howard Goldberg, president and chief executive officer of the company.
