BERLIN-German wireless provider T-Mobile International AG reported its Frankfurt area network suffered a severe disruption today following the failure of a routing computer.
A company spokesman said the problem, which included Frankfurt’s airport, forced customers to dial several times before connecting to the network or prohibited calls all together in some cases. T-Mobile added that it was working with network supplier Siemens AG to solve the issue.
T-Mobile serves more than 25 million customers in Germany, with Frankfurt home to approximately 650,000 people.
