BRIDGETOWN, Barbados-Nortel Networks Inc. said it will supply GSM/GPRS technology to Sunbeach Communications Inc., a wireline and wireless Internet service provider in Barbados. Sunbeach is expanding its service offerings to include wireless voice and data services.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
Sunbeach said it will enter the cellular market in Barbados, but did not provide a timeframe for the service launch. The company is dually listed on the London and Barbados stock exchanges.
