Nextel Mexico to use ADC software

MINNEAPOLIS-ADC Telecommunications Inc. reported that Nextel de Mexico S.A. de C.V. would use its Metrica performance management software to support its broadband wireless network.

Nextel de Mexico, which began service in 1998 and used Motorola Inc.’s iDEN technology, currently provides coverage in more than 18 Mexican cities.
