BELLEVUE, Wash.-Western Wireless Corp. named Wayne Wisehart chief financial officer effective Jan. 30 and promoted Theresa Gillespie to vice chair.
Wisehart spent 16 years at Palmer Communications and Palmer Wireless, serving as CFO at both companies. Gillespie has served in various positions at Western Wireless since its founding, including most recently as CFO.
Western Wireless also announced a four-year agreement with TSI Telecommunications Services Inc. for TSI to provide its Access clearinghouse services to Western Wireless’ domestic wireless business.
The Access service is designed to simplify the exchange of roamer billing data between wireless operators by providing a single, authorized receipt point for call detail records.
