SAN DIEGO, Calif.-Antenna manufacturer Ethertronics launched the GW tri-band embedded antenna for cellular applications.
The antenna is the flagship product in the company’s G Series, and operates on the 900 MHz GSM, 1800 MHz DCS and 1900 MHz PCS frequency bands.
Ethertronics said the antenna delivers 80 percent to 100 percent improvement in the Specific Absorption Rate-to-efficiency ratio, which translates into increased signal strength, battery life and talk time, while reducing radio-frequency exposure to the user.
The antenna’s high isolation properties also allow auxiliary antennas to be placed in close proximity to each other with minimal coupling.
