NEW DELHI, India-The Taiwan-based Comtrend Corporation, a solutions provider to telecom companies, will market wireless instant messaging solutions from New Delhi-based ACL Wireless Limited in Taiwan. The two companies announced a strategic partnership to market and deploy ACL’s wireless instant messenger on mobile networks in Taiwan.
“Comtrend already has an established relationships with telcos in Taiwan, which can be further strengthened by offering an innovative wireless instant messaging application, which has a proven track record and consumer adoption history,” said Sanjay Goyal, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of ACL Wireless.
ACL’s instant messenger lets users communicate instantly through short message service (SMS), PCs or Web-enabled wireless devices.
“This offer is tempting for the cellular operators as it provides innovative value-added services, enhances network usage and opens new channel for revenues,” said Steven Chiang, director of sales for Comtrend.
