WASHINGTON, D.C.— Susan E. Monahan has been chosen as director of GSM North America (GSMNA), the North American regional interest group of the GSM Association.
“Sue brings considerable GSM experience to her position, both as a member of GSMNA’s voluntary committees and her engineering and product development work with carriers in the U.S. wireless industry,” said David Williams, Cingular’s vice president of strategic planning and chair of GSMNA’s CTO group. “She’s a valuable addition to our organization.”
Monahan joins the association from Ulticom Inc., where she was corporate sales systems engineer. She also has experience with Pacific Bell Wireless, Bell Communications Research Corp. (Bellcore) and Bell Atlantic Mobile.
