Motorola wins Chinese CDMA contract

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Illinois, United States—Motorola said it won a US$34.8 million contract from China Unicom to expand the carrier’s 800 MHz CDMA networks in the Hebei province.

In May, Motorola had won a US$407 million contract in 11 provinces in the country, including Beijing.
