SPOKANE, Wash.-Itronix corp., which designs and manufactures ruggedized, wireless mobile computing solutions, was named the Sears Partner in Progress for 2000. The award, which Itronix has now received three times, is given annually to vendor companies that make the biggest contributions to Sears, Roebuck and Co. business growth and customer service.
This year, Itronix was recognized for its help desk services, which are supplied in support of the 12,500 Sears Home services technicians that use Itronix wireless mobile computing products. In 2000, Itronix handled more than 36,000 calls and boasted a 92 percent first-time call resolution rate.
