DALLAS-Texas Instruments Inc. said its Bipolar-CMOS radio frequency transceiver, TRF6001, achieved Bluetooth certification from 7 Layers AG, a Bluetooth qualification body.
“We are pleased to have been granted certification, as it adds further credibility for our field-proven Bluetooth chipsets,” said Ari Rauch, general manager for TI’s Short-Distance Wireless Business Unit.
TI said the TRF6001 forms the RF part for both the RAM-based BSN6020 point-to-point Bluetooth baseband and the ROM-based BSN6030 baseband.
