BOSTON-PacketVideo Corp. and Nortel Networks have agreed to co-market streaming video solutions integrating PacketVideo’s end-to-end wireless multimedia system into Nortel’s UMTS application and services framework for wireless data access.
Nortel said the solution will be based on the MPEG-4 standard and will be tested to optimize streaming media delivery over 2.5-generation and 3G wireless networks.
