LONDON-BT Cellnet has signed an agreement that allows Nortel Networks to develop its GPRS networks with initial focus on mobile entertainment and business applications.
Both companies plan to work together with suppliers and subscribers on developing these applications from the “idea stage through testing and market introduction,” according to a press release.
“This joint initiative really sets our companies apart by bringing together the very best combination of technology, content and know-how for mobile application delivery,” said Tony Greaves, director, group products and services development team for BT Cellnet.
