BARCELONA, Spain-Net2wireless Corp. joined Lucent Technologies Inc.’s Mobile Internet affiliates program under which Net2Wireless’ 3Gate Platform, a solution designed to enhance the performance of multimedia content on mobile devices, will be offered to global mobile service providers.
“The 3Gate Platform and Net2Wireless’ advanced compression techniques and other innovations complement our strategy of preserving our customers’ investments,” noted Stacey Gelman, vice president of Lucent’s Mobile Internet business. “It enhances data performance in today’s mobile networks, and promises to evolve as we upgrade our networks with next generation packet and wideband radio capabilities for third generation services.”
