SAN DIEGO-Littlefeet Inc. said GSM operator One.Tel Ltd. successfully tested Littlefeet’s SPICE products in a field trial in Perth, Australia.
Iowa Wireless also plans to test Littlefeet’s infrastructure.
In the Perth field trial, Littlefeet demonstrated a significantly low dropped call rate and a substantial data support rate throughout the SPICE network, the company said.
SPICE products can be installed on public rights of way without having to meet federal zoning guidelines, the company said.
The Perth trial was the company’s first customer field trial.
