HONG KONG-Hutchison’s Orange, the Hong Kong CDMA operator, said it now offers automatic roaming in Australia through Hutchison Telecom Australia, which recently launched CDMA mobile-phone service. The new roaming service covers Sydney, for use at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, and Melbourne, Australia.
The Hong Kong operator also offers automatic CDMA roaming in the United States, Canada, Japan and Korea.
