HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Audiovox Communications Corp. introduced a new toll-free telephone service providing consumers with a convenient way to purchase or receive information about hands-free accessories for the company’s cellular phones.
“We want to again remind consumers who choose to use their wireless phones in their cars that safety is their primary responsibility,” said Philip Christopher, president and chief executive officer of Audiovox.
Christopher also noted that the company is introducing two new hands-free accessories for the Audiovox MVX-605 and MVX-605XL. The accessories include an interface adapter enabling the phone to accept a hands-free microphone, as well as a complete portable hands-free kit.
