INDIANAPOLIS-A new contender, Telstreet.com, has launched an online wireless superstore, unveiling a retail outlet for products and services. To prepare for the online battle, Telstreet.com has partnered with other companies familiar with both the telecom and online industries.
Telstreet.com will serve as a national dealer for AT&T Wireless Services Inc., Sprint PCS and Nextel Communications Inc. and also has a cooperative marketing relationship with Egghead.com and Hello Direct. According to Telstreet.com, this will allow consumers a seamless shopping experience where consumers can compare wireless products and services and place orders. A partnership with Brightpoint Inc., a wireless distribution and fulfillment company, guarantees free delivery of a ready-to-use phones to customers.
“Telstreet.com takes responsibility for the entire customer experience from buying to fulfillment to delivery of the order,” said Terry Dwyer, president and chief executive officer of Telstreet.com. “Consumers are guaranteed to find the wireless package that best meets their needs or their money back.”
Telstreet.com also has promotional agreements with American Express, cars.com, Fox.com, Mail.com and Mindspring to allow the company to offer its products and services to a larger customer base.
