ATLANTA-LHS Group Inc. said it has established a new branch office in New Delhi, India. The office is a branch of LHS Asia Pacific based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“The India branch office will focus on serving existing clients and generating new business in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal,” said Vivek Malhan, LHS business development manager. “We want to move closer to and improve our service for customers in this region, as well as expand our existing customer base.”
More than 35 percent of Indian mobile subscribers currently are processed on LHS’ customer care and billing software, Business Support and Control System, said the company. With 14 licenses sold to six operators, LHS has more than 40 percent of the market share for billing and customer care solutions implemented in India, said LHS.
