WOODBRIDGE, N.J.-BellSouth Wireless Data L.P. announced its Interactive Paging Service customers now have four levels of operator service options through a deal with National Dispatch Center Inc.
The standard operator dispatch service lets users receive messages via a nationwide 800 number, while the enhanced personal greeting service is the same but also allows customers to record their own greeting. The corporate toll-free service option allows a company to access any device on a multiple-device account from a common toll-free number. Finally, OneConnect service gives users a personal toll-free number so callers may reach a subscriber by pager, numeric or operator-assisted text messaging, voice mail and live Call Connect and fax notification.
The various services are available at prices ranging from 50 cents per 80-character message for the standard option, to $9 a month extra for OneConnect at an additional 25-cent charge for voice mail, fax, Call Connect and other services. All four tiers require a one-time, $25 activation fee.
