ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.-Motorola Inc.’s Cellular Infrastructure Group announced it will replace the existing analog cellular telephone network in Culiacan, Sinaloa and Hermosillo Sonora, Mexico, according to a contract it signed with Mexican telecom operator Movitel del Noroeste.
The group said it also has begun deploying the operator’s Code Division Multiple Access digital-ready network, which should double its capacity.
