MOTOROLA TRANSFERS SELECT ACCOUNTS TO FLORIDA’S SIGNAL

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.-Motorola Inc. will begin transferring its select service accounts in its South Florida market to Signal Communications Service Inc., the only authorized Motorola service station in South Florida.

Throughout the next year, a select group of expiring Motorola service contracts associated with businesses in South Florida will be converted to Signal Communications Service contracts, said the companies.

“Localizing the service contracts gives businesses the opportunity to contract directly with Signal for a `seamless’ transition of service,” said Jonathan Franklin, president of Signal and a former Motorola management executive. “We have Motorola-trained technicians, equipment and unmatched support from Motorola in this market.”
