MINNEAPOLIS-Nextel Communications Inc. launched its integrated digital wireless communications network in Minneapolis.
Nextel customers can use their Nextel PowerFone in Nextel markets throughout the United states without paying roaming fees, the company said.
The service, which uses Motorola Inc.’s integrated Digital Enhanced Network technology, combines cellular, alphanumeric paging, voice mail and a two-way radio feature in one phone.
