KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Sprint will unveil the first offering of its Total Number service to customers in the Las Vegas market.
Total Number is a single number service which allows customers to use one telephone number to receive standard phone calls, cellular calls, pages, facsimiles and voice mail messages at a variety of locations, the company said.
“Total Number will be a very effective communications tool, particularly for those customers who work at home or run small businesses,” said Dwayne Neilson, assistant vice president-consumer markets for Sprint’s Local Telecommunications Division.
The service uses advanced intelligent network software technology to combine or link several different telephone numbers for customers who use multiple means of communicating, the company said.
