SCHAUMBURG, Ill.-Motorola Inc. said its equity investment arm made a strategic investment in Tekion Inc.
Tekion develops micro fuel cells for mobile products. The company’s Formira Power Pack is designed to fit inside mobile products and, according to the company, allow consumers to stay connected indefinitely.
Financial terms of the investment were not released.
Micro fuel cells have generated a notable amount of interest from mobile phone makers that are keen to improve battery life in phones.
