CORK, Ireland-Motorola Inc.’s GSM Products Division will hire 300 software engineers at its Global System for Mobile communications facility in Cork, Ireland. The expansion project is billed at more than $30 million, the company said.
Earlier this month, the division announced 300 new jobs at its GSM manufacturing headquarters in Swindon, England.
The software center in Cork was established in 1981 to develop and support software development for analog and digital GSM mobile communications systems.
