Newcomers occupied the top four positions in the two-year return on investment category, in this order: Brightpoint Inc., Tellabs Inc., Specialty Teleconstructors Inc. and ADC Telecommunications Inc.
Brightpoint’s two-year return of nearly 260 percent wasn’t even close to that of the 448 percent realized by WinStar Communications Inc. during the prior period when it was the chart leader.
WinStar moved down to fifth place in the most recent rankings, with a return of more than 132 percent.
Tessco Technologies Inc. punched in at seventh on a return of more than 124 percent, which was nearly double the rate the company posted during the rankings published last year.
