ATLANTA-TWS Inc., a developer and distributor of wireless telecom software, announced a deal to offer BellSouth Mobility DCS customers with TWS’ new bulletIN e-mail technology directly on wireless phones.
BellSouth Mobility DCS customers will receive and reply to e-mail messages on their personal communications services handsets from anywhere on the network throughout North and South Carolina and eastern Tennessee, said BellSouth.
TWS’s technology is a complete software package that ties into a network operator’s digital message center to forward information from the Internet or a from corporate local area network to a subscriber’s wireless phone.
The carrier’s e-mail service, DCS Email, includes 40 messages for about $5 per month. Additional messages are 20 cents each.
“DCS Email is yet another way BellSouth Mobility DCS is liking customers to the communications services they want to simplify their lives,” said BellSouth Mobility DCS President Eric Ensor.
