Verizon launches digital service in North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D.—Verizon Wireless launched digital wireless service in the Bismarck-Mandan area of North Dakota as part of the carrier’s $7.7 million investment in the local network. Verizon previously only offered analog service in the area.

The coverage area includes stretches of Interstate-94 from Glen Ullin west of Bismarck-Mandan to Stelle, N.D., in the east.

Verizon Wireless also launched digital service in Jackson, Wyo., as part of its $4 million investment in its Wyoming network this year.

The coverage area extends on U.S. Highway 26 north to Moose Junction, south to Swinging Bridge Road, west to Highway 22 to approximately three miles west of Wilson and north to Teton Village on Highway 390 to the Teton National Park entrance.
