ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Personal Communications Industry Association announced Miguel (Mike) Pellon has been elected to serve as chairman of the board of the PCIA Foundation.
Pellon, vice president and general manager of wireless messaging for Motorola Inc.’s personal communications sector and a current member of the foundation’s board, will serve as chairman for one year. He replaces outgoing chairman Brad Busse, president and chief operating officer of Daniels & Associates.
“Mike, along with Motorola, is a longtime friend and supporter of the PCIA Foundation,” said Jay Kitchen, PCIA president and chief executive officer. “His vast experience, not only with the foundation, but in the wireless messaging industry makes him incredibly qualified for this position.”
