WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.—Wireless data provider GTRAN Wireless Inc. announced it has deployed its new DotSurfer 1x data card solution in several Latin American countries.
The card gives mobile device users access to the Internet, e-mail and other multimedia applications. It has been shipped to carriers including Telefonica, Peru; Telefonica, Brazil; and Telesp Celular, Brazil.
“Commercially available data devices that take advantage of the latest CDMA 1x technology will ensure consumer appeal toward such a device, said Ivan Ciganer of Telefonica Moviles, Peru. “Demand will increase.”
