MEXICO CITY—Nokia launched its 8270 model phone, a CDMA 1900 MHz “fashion” phone at Expo Comm Mexico 2002. Shipments of the phone, which is Nokia’s first CDMA fashion phone for the Americas, are scheduled to begin during the second quarter.
The Nokia 8270 offers changeable color covers, backlit display, downlaodable ring tones, a built-in minibrowser for Internet connectivity and two-way mobile messaging.
