SAN FRANCISCO—European giant T-Mobile will use nGame’s Java QuickStart Program to launch Java gaming applications throughout its coverage area, nGame announced.
NGame’s QuickStart product allows carriers to roll out Java-capable games in less than three months and includes an over-the-air provisioning server.
In other Java-related news, Siemens IC Mobile UK selected Pixo’s Mobile Download System as the recommended product for carriers to offer over-the-air Java application downloading.
Separately, Java processor company Zucotto Wireless Inc. appointed David Grooms as its chief executive officer.
