STOCKHOLM, Sweden-MapInfo Corp. announced a new partnership with Swedish mobile Internet positioning company Mobilaris. Under the deal, the companies will combine MapInfo’s miAware location-based services platform with Mobilaris’ positioning middleware, Pacific Ocean, a move the companies said will provide mobile operators with faster implementation of complete, end-to-end location-based services products.
