CHICAGO-PCTEL Inc. has acquired wireless communications equipment manufacturer Dynamic Telecommunications Inc. for $10 million in cash.
“We are extremely excited that DTIA is joining the PCTEL team,” said Marty Singer, PCTEL’s chairman and chief executive officer. “We believe DTI’s technology, when applied to WLANs will help usher in a wave of activity to improve the efficiency of these networks. We also anticipate security-related applications for their software-defined radio technology.”
