BELLEVUE, Wash.-InfoSpace must pay all of the legal fees for Intelius Inc. after a Washington state judge found InfoSpace could not prove that Intelius, which was founded by former InfoSpace senior executives and technologists, had violated trade secrets or improperly used InfoSpace’s proprietary information.
Intelius, which was formed earlier this year, was pleased with the verdict and announced the ruling in a press release on Wednesday.
“We are pleased with the outcome. This will allow us to continue to focus on building Intelius into a successful, profitable business,” said Naveen Jain, founder and chief executive officer of Intelius.
