Virgin Mobile expands retail presence with CompUSA deal

WARREN, N.J.-Virgin Mobile USA L.L.C. reported its prepaid products and services are now available at more than 220 CompUSA Inc. stores nationwide, an expansion of its retail presence that includes Best Buy, Circuit City and Amazon.Com.

“Our partnership with CompUSA furthers our goal of making Virgin Mobile available in the type of retail environments that strongly appeal to the youth market,” explained Howard Handler, chief marketing officer at Virgin Mobile.

Virgin Mobile USA announced late last month that network provider and partner Sprint PCS would offer the prepaid service through its more than 550 company-owned stores across the country.
