SUNNYVALE, Calif.-Actiontec Electronics unveiled a wireless Bluetooth headset that enables wireless, hands-free conversations over Bluetooth-enabled devices.
The headset, which retails for $70, hooks over either ear and operates with two buttons that can be used to answer, redial, hang up or adjust the volume. It delivers a wireless signal from a device at a range of 30 feet.
“Cordless headsets are among the first tangible benefits of Bluetooth short-range wireless networking technology because of the convenience and greater safety of not having to fumble with wires while having a hands-free, cell-phone conversation in the car,” explained Dean Chang, Actiontec’s president and chief executive officer.
