LONDON-Vodafone Group plc said it added nearly 4.4 million proportionate net subscribers during the final three months of last year across its international operations, ending 2003 with 130.4 million total proportionate subscribers.
Included in Vodafone’s customer growth results were 678,000 net subscriber additions from its 44.3-percent stake in Verizon Wireless, which should result in approximately 1.4 million net subscriber additions for Verizon Wireless during the fourth quarter when the carrier reports its financial results tomorrow.
