COLUMBIA, Md.-Tecore Wireless Systems, which offers a one-box GSM distributed mobile switching platform, said HafaTel deployed its AirCore Mobile Switching System. HafaTel is a wireless and international telephone service provider in Guam.
Tecore’s system will replace an existing switching system that offers limited growth potential, said the company. According to Tecore, Guam serves more than 1 million tourists each year, and HafaTel has experienced significant increases in roaming subscribers.
“The deployment of the AirCore system, with its advanced integrated features, scalability and high reliability comes at a time when we need the increased performance and advanced features,” said John Wu, vice president of HafaTel.
