ANCHORAGE, Alaska-Reality Wireless Networks Inc. and PeopleMatter Inc., which develops and markets Web-based work force management software, announced plans to merge.
Reality Networks previously offered broadband wireless services but has recently shifted its focus to other wireless opportunities.
A letter of intent between the companies calls for Reality to issue about 92 percent of its common stock shares for all the issued and outstanding common stock shares of PeopleMatter.
PeopleMatter has customers in the technology, health care, government, biotechnology and recreation in-dustries, said the companies.
Following the merger, Reality will change its name to PeopleMatter Inc. and David Laurence will retain his role as chairman and chief executive officer of PeopleMatter.
