PHILADELPHIA-Hewlett Packard Co. and Earthlink Inc. will have to wait another few days for the City of Philadelphia’s announcement of which company wins the city’s Wi-Fi infrastructure contract.
The announcement was scheduled to be made Monday, Sept. 26, but Dianah Neff, chief information officer in Philadelphia, said the city needs a few more days to get things in order and fully brief Mayor John Street of its vendor selection.
Neff said the city will make an announcement Monday, Oct. 3.
