Meanwhile, the company has offered 2G international roaming and short message service in 238 countries and territories together with 487 local peers and provided GPRS international roaming service in 173 countries and territories in partnership with 337 local peers.
China Unicom is the only Chinese carrier that is able to offer video telephone roaming service and the service has been provided in eleven countries and territories together with 22 local peers.
Moreover, the company has offered international multimedia messaging service in 122 countries and territories in partnership with 309 local peers. Customers are reminded to get familiar with the service packages for roaming service in countries and territories they are heading to avoid high expenses.
