ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.-Motorola Inc.’s Cellular Infrastructure Group announced an agreement to replace the analog equipment in GTE Wireless’ Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C., and Charleston, S.C., networks, with Code Division Multiple Access equipment. The networks, which began commercial service in 1985, will be upgraded with new base stations and switches to add CDMA service to the markets.
