COSTA MESA, Calif.—Global positioning system technology manufacturer Axiom Navigation Inc. said it acquired Traxsis, which provides software that locates mobile users.
Axoim’s GPS engine has been integrated into Traxsis’ X-Pak cellular battery pack and combined with its X-GPS location server technology, giving users the ability to wirelessly transmit a location that is viewable on a digitized map.
Financial details of the merger were not disclosed.
