AALBORG, Denmark-Danish mobile data delivery company End2End announced that it will deliver content for Swisscom Mobile’s third-generation streaming service.
The carrier has been using End2End to deliver downloadable content for its Vodafone live! service, which launched in Switzerland last year. With the new agreement, End2End will use the same technology for Swisscom’s new streaming service, which debuted two weeks ago.
“Streaming media is one of the key services available over 3G, and therefore, we wanted to ensure that we could effectively manage both streaming content and content providers,” said Markus Doetsch, Swisscom’s head of technical marketing.<
