DUBLIN, Ireland-Messaging provider Jinny Software released two new product bundles designed to deliver short message service, multimedia messaging service and other offerings to mobile operators.
VAS2GO is targeted at mobile operators with small customer bases looking to launch or expand existing messaging systems. It includes a WAP gateway, voicemail system and value-added services application platform.
VAS2GO Plus was created specifically for operators in Central and Eastern Europe wanting to offload VAS traffic onto a single messaging solution.
“VAS services have become a key ingredient of successful messaging strategies for operators,” said Max Wilkie, Jinny’s chief executive officer. “Operators must have in place sufficient messaging capacity to support the continued growth in demand and usage of such services, and they must also implement new infrastructure that will handle increasing VAS traffic.”
Jinny also announced it is making “significant strides” in the third quarter, signing agreements with six major operators. With its new offerings, Jinny hopes to expand on its operations in Europe and Africa, Wilkie said.
