MIAMI-Cingular Wireless L.L.C. unveiled the second phase of its planned $40 million upgrade to its South Florida network.
The upgrade is expected to include more than 50 new cell sites this year. The carrier noted it completed the first phase of the upgrade in October, including the launch of GSM/GPRS services.
