CANNES, France—CellPoint Inc. launched its Mobile Location System 6.0 Platform this week in Cannes at the 3GSM World Congress.
“MLS 6.0 is the successor to CellPoint’s MLS 5.0 platform and is a market-leading location platform in terms of capacity, reliability and multi-vendor network support,” explained Stephen Childs, president of CellPoint. He added that CellPoint’s Mobile Location Broker (MLB) interfaces with the new platform to provide an architecture that will enable new mobile applications and content services directly from carriers and third-party application and content providers.
